ETH Zurich regularly features in international rankings as one of the best universities in the world and the leading university in continental Europe.
In its 2024 subject-specific ranking, external pageTHE - World University Rankingscall_made awarded ETH Zurich rank 16 worldwide in "Business & Economics", where D-MTEC is active.
University rankings are a consequence of the globalisation of tertiary education and provide a useful basis for decision-making. However, they vary greatly in their methods and focus and in how they define specialist areas, and so should be interpreted with caution when assessing the quality of a university.
