EU GrantsAccess

EU GrantsAccess is an office providing information and advice for national and international researchers who already live or work in Switzerland, who are looking for an opportunity to conduct a scientific career in Switzerland or who are interested in moving to another country to do so.
EU GrantsAccess provides information on international research funding, supports researcher with EU proposals, organizes information events or workshops on specific topics or on general topics regarding the Swiss Research Area.

Learning to Teach

Learning to Teach offered by LET (Educational Development and Technology) is a program which is designed for Doctoral Assistants with current teaching responsibilities (exercises, excursions, supervision of practicals, lectures, etc.) or for those who will take up teaching tasks in the semester following the program.

The student exchange office offer exchange programs for ETH students who wish to undertake part of their studies abroad, and administer various exchange possibilities for doctoral students and lecturers.

Euresearch - Swiss Guide to European Research and Innovation

Euresearch is the Swiss network mandated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation providing targeted information, hands-on advice and transnational partnering related to European research and innovation programs.
The network is composed of a Head Office in Bern and Regional Offices in each University and (Swiss) Federal Institute of Technology.

SNSF – Swiss National Science Foundation

The SNSF offers a range of research funding schemes, each with its own budget. In so doing, it seeks to implement the principle of fair competition: applications must always be evaluated in a competitive procedure through comparisons with similar applications.


swissnex is a network with nodes in the world’s most innovative hubs, where the future is being shaped. Together with science and technology counsellors based in Swiss embassies around the world swissnex takes an active role in strengthening Switzerland’s leadership as a world-class location for science, education, and innovation.

The Fulbright Program

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

Summer Schools in Europe

Summer Schools in (an initiative of Utrecht Summer School) is the perfect starting point to explore Europe, a continent of great diversity of place, culture and identity. Its divergent people carry their own cultures, religions, traditions and languages. By taking a summer course in Europe students can lay a foundation today for their future career. In a world that has grown ever smaller in the wake of globalisation, international experience is needed more than ever. By studying abroad students will develop their communication skills and team spirit.
