Doctoral Retreat 2023
The Doctoral Retreat 2023 will take place from 31 August to 1 September in Kappel am Albis.
During the Doctoral Retreat you will discuss current academic topics in the different research domains, exchange academic practices, knowledge, and experience, as well as have ample leisure and networking time. The retreat is free of charge for MTEC doctoral candidates. The department will cover the following costs: accommodation, board (drinks are at your own expense), train ticket (group ticket, second class, round-trip).
This year's Doctoral Retreat will take place from 31 August to 1 September 2023 in Kappel am Albis, Switzerland. Participants will stay at the external pageHotel Kloster Kappel. The former Cistercian monastery with its Gothic church is located at the southern foot of the Albis mountain range, in the middle of an expansive landscape of fields and forests with a lovely view of the Alps.
