CAS ETH in Digital Health

The Certificate of Advanced Studies ETH in Digital Health provides healthcare executives with the tools necessary to understand the role of digital health interventions in the prevention and management of chronic conditions.

Digital health interventions allow us to carry out, scale and personalise treatments for chronic conditions at sustainable costs. This course equips healthcare executives with the tools necessary to tackle the design, implementation and evaluation of such applications.

Participants will explore different business models and critically assess existing applications. This exploration will form the foundation for designing and validating a digital, wearable device personalised to measure specific biomarkers, as well as for designing, implementing and evaluating a smartphone-based, chatbot-delivered intervention.

The majority of the course content will be delivered remotely and asynchronously using a virtual learning environment. Regular synchronous coaching sessions, group discussions and guest lectures will also be held. Additionally, the CAS features two 2-day retreats, at the start and at the end of the programme, providing opportunities for networking and tailored support and featuring lectures from industry leaders in real time.
